In a significant effort to enhance educational resources, Hadassah Foundation, in partnership with ANUCAM, donated primary school textbooks for classes one to five, along with exercise books, to pupils at Morock Mika Memorial Academy. This initiative follows a month-long mental health awareness program conducted by Hadassah Foundation.
During the donation event, pupils and teachers gathered to witness the handover of educational materials. A representative from Hadassah Foundation, Mr. Tabi Bissong, who stood in for CEO Madam Ayuk Etongo, stated, “By providing these essential learning materials, we hope to empower students and help them realize their full potential. It has been a wonderful experience working and associating with the pupils.”
The headmistress’s representative, Madam Evodia, expressed gratitude for the donation, noting, “These books will make a significant difference in our students’ academic journeys. The knowledge Hadassah Foundation has impacted in the children has really improved how they think and behave.”
One excited pupil, Nambangni La-belle Makane, a class five student, shared her enthusiasm: “I am really happy to get these new books. They will help me learn better in class.” She also highlighted the benefits of the mental health sessions, stating that she learned how to manage anger and emotions among her peers.
The collaboration between Hadassah Foundation and ANUCAM will undoubtedly provide lasting benefits for the students, supporting both their educational and emotional needs.
