  • by

Representing Hadassah Foundation, the Gender Officer participates in a GBV Safety Audit Training organized by WACameroon and TeenAlive under the UNFPA-funded “Woman Eh Wuna Place Dey” project from 15th and 16th June 2026.

The workshop enhanced participants’ skills in identifying GBV-related risks using safety audit tools such as observations, KIIs, and FGDs, while emphasizing key protection principles including safety, confidentiality, and survivor-centered approaches. The training also laid the groundwork for the development of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to strengthen GBV prevention and response efforts in communities.

Through this participation, Hadassah Foundation strengthened its capacity to contribute to safer and more protective environments for women and girls in the communities it serves.
